Does anyone know where to hire cocktail glasses from I will need 30 - 40.
We used Sainsburys for wedding glasses in April- completely free- charged £1 per breakage. do check them at the start though - we borrowed about 300 and they were mostly dirty and had to wash them before (and after) the event - very time consuming - and also about 4 were broken before we started. That's fine since it was a free service - but be prepared that they may arrive dirty!0 -

I used Tesco Glass hire last weekend. Just go to customer services tell them what you want and when. They ask when you want to return them etc. You collect them. Leave a cheque to cover any damage which they dont cash.0

Hi I work for sainsbury. We did do a glass loan service which had a £20 deposit fully refundable if glasses are returned clean and unbroken. However our store has recently stopped this service as our staff canteen was taken away and replaced with vending machines and we no longer have facilities to wash glasses and customers never returned them washed. Larger stores will offer the service but every store will only stock a limited number of glasses according to how much storage space they have. Hope this helps0

I used to work for Waitrose and there is no rule that says you have to buy their wine. The glass hire is free and as someone already mentioned you should return them clean and it's £1 for every broken glass. Whoever you spoke to has been misinformed.:(0
