    Route finder says its only 290 metres from the pub to the travelodge? We can stagger back if its that close....


    Yeah i just found that out too,im sure we could make it that far :D


    Just to say that if anyone gets the train into peterborough im more than happy to pick up from the station and take you to the venue when decided:D

    Travel Inn - City centre night out maybe a curry when we cant last no longer !
    And... The East of England showground is there.. the National Motorhome Show is on... YEY ! :-)

    Dont think the marriott have the rooms.. Just tried..... Laterooms also say they are full..

    I know.. I checked too.... All we need to do is see what the cuckoo pub is like, maybe they do rooms.. try get a faxed manu or something to make sure its nice...

    I can just see the agenda now... Meeting driks in the hotel bar, walk around the village to look at the pubs, make our way to the cuckoo pub, eat, stay in the cuckoo for more drinks, back to hotel for night cap drinks... :o

    I've just tried the Cuckoo, got the phone number this time 01733 232221 but no reply.

    Only problem with Travelodge is that the majority don't have bars, if I can "magic" some cash before April we'll book the Marriott and then we can use the residents lounge when the pub's shut :rotfl:

    I don't like recommending somewhere cos if it turns out to be naff then you feel really bad, so more than happy to go anywhere.

    Right guys think iv found an ideal place

    at hampton just outside peterborough theres a brewers fayre pub with a premier travelodge on the side rooms are £48 per nite does that sound any good ?:beer:
