Any incentives for getting an Egg CC?

All, i'm thinking about applying for an Egg CC and using it to start my stoozing escapades, are there any incentives going around ATM which can make the process even sweeter?
e.g. £20 free credit, wine, anything else?
I am also going to open an ING Direct account to stooze into - I see that the likes of Egg savings/First Direct savings offer better *initial* rates put are poorer after-that.
Seperatly, during the (online) application for the Egg CC, I assume there is a dialog which allows me to enter the amount I wish to stooze ...ahem I mean the amount I want to borrow to pay off my other debts. True?
Thanks

No Egg freebies that I've heard. Beware of ING, they were a shambles when I had an account (they persistently debited things twice and even three times, then failed to follow up when I questioned this). I closed it in disgust in the end. They were unapologetic.
Also remember that if you make frequent cash movements the clearing time between banks - 3 or 4 days - may cost you more interest than a marginal interest rate advantage is worth.
Egg pay 5.5% for the first 6 months. To me, remembering to move the stooze fund every 6 months is just the flipside of remembering to transfer the balance. The best deals at present are Egg, the AA, Northern Rock, A & L, and B & B, IIRC.0 -
Westernpromise, is that you with the Afro? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

Have recently paid back and cancelled all my bagging credit cards as we are looking to move house in the not too distant future and didn't want lots of credit affecting our mortgage application.
Egg have just called to confirm cancellation of my cc but have also said that should I wish to take advantage of my 0% anniversary in November, then I just have to call up and they will re-instate the account without need for a further credit check.
Pretty good I think.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -
Egg - £5 from Rpoints
ING referrals tread
A&L online saver 5.35% - NOT ‘INITIAL’! + £6 from Linemypocket0 -
