looking for rechargeable battery charger with

rechargeable batteries for AA and AAA batteries. i have looked at some in the argos catalogue (quite pricey i might add) but not sure what this means "the greater the mAh, the greater the performance".
1) any idea where can get them cheaper
2) what is the mAh
3) anything to look out for?

You should be able to get a decent charger for under £5 plus postage on ebay. They are also widely available in shops.

mAh is short for milliamp hours and is a measure of the capacity of the battery. The higher the figure the longer the battery will last before needing recharging.

AA batteries are typically 1,200 to 2,400 or so. The higher capacity batteries tend to be a bit more expensive. AAA batteries have much lower capacities because they are so much smaller.

Buy Ni-Mh batteries rather than the older Ni-Cd type. They are higher capacity and suffer less from the memory effect.

we got ours from ebay, for about £8.00 incl. p&p, cant remember what make and cant go upstairs to check as hubby is in bed - nights:mad:
they are good quality , heavy duty ones, blue and orange if memory serves, they come in a handy little hard case too.
