I've been trying to back up my phone to reboot it from scratch, but when i connect to itunes it freezes for ages, then i get the following error message:
iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try agin later.
What on earth does this mean? The handset is driving me mad so i really need to get it backed up to reboot it, and it would seem that i can't. Please help!!
Edit: when i hit ok, it seems to start the sync process, but it gets stuck on step 2 of 7.

Is this on a MAC , if so
In the Finder, choose Utilities from the Go menu.
Open Terminal.
In the Terminal window, type or paste the following command on a single line:
/System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/resetsync.pl full
Press Return.
When the operation is complete, quit Terminal.0 -
Sorry, no it's a PC.0
