Just looking for a bit reassurance until I hear something from estate agents. We accepted an offer in our house yesterday sfternoon....however, estate agent called this afternoon asking for feedback on a house we viewed and then mentioned that they have left messages to the lady that made offer to say we accepted but not heard back from her...he said he was surprised. I know its only a day but now feel so gloomy! She's an investment buyer. I just not sure what to think. Any opinions/experience. Nthanks

Stay calm , she could be away, in a meeting, ill, or just unavailable. Does your EA work Saturdays?0

Hope you hear tomorrow. Try not to worry, an investment buyer won't be so emotionally involved as somebody buying a home for themselves and as go cat mentions, they could be tied up in business or something.
When we offer on a house for making a home in, we are afraid to stray from our phones as we are sweating on a response, but someone investing in property will be quite detached from the process as it's basically just a deal to them and they won't lose any sleep over it.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
