Good evening all, just returned from looe where I caught a local news item about a pensioner who picked up a parking fine (in their words) for parking in a permit holders car park, obviously the guy was not happy as he argued the signage was poor to say where he could and could not park so he decided to fight the charge.the funny thing is that the guy is a retired chief inspector who pointEd out to the reporter that certain wordage on the signs were illegal, like the words offence and fine and them being able to clamp disabled badge holders cars. The bbc contacted pps the operator in the car park who did not bother to reply but hastily reworded the signs.
Hats off to you sir:T

''It was in quite threatening tones and I probably would have paid it but I got in contact with a colleague through the National Association of Retired Police Officers who was very knowledgeable on the subject.''
Read the comments underneath as well!
