Just thought I'd pop a quick message In here.
I've finally exchanged contracts & will be completing next week.
It's been one of the most stressful times of my life & hopefully won't be doing it again for a good few years.
The buyer of my house was the 4th as previous 3 had all fallen through. Its took a year from when my house first went on the market. Previous buyers were all a waste of time & one even tried to gazunder 15k off the price at the last minute.
At times I almost pulled the house off the market & decided to stay put but my message to anyone just on the market or had a buyer pull out is you will get there In the end. Just sit tight & try & not let the process get to u.

Congrats!

It is stressful in today's market. We need the law to change to either require deposits like in other countries or like Scotland where an offer made is contractual.0 -
Must be a huge relief, congrats! :beer:0

Yay! Celebrate and enjoy your new home. :beer:The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
We exchanged yesterday and complete next Thursday, I know what you mean about not letting the process get to you but easier said than done! Our buyer had the most ridiculously nit-picky solicitors and my solicitor was about ready to !!!!!-slap them into next week!
But it's an amazing feeling knowing exchange has happened and in the not too distant future you will be enjoying your new home and starting your new life and all the stress and hassle will have been worth it!
Congratulations! There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0
