I have the go ahead from my solicitor - they have everything they need from the other side and ready to exchange

now to set up buildings insurance at the weekend and email over proof mon and will then exchange

will complete a week today :j

I will have 5 weeks to replace boiler, get the flooring downstairs ripped up, damp proofed and relayed and put in a kitchen before my lodger will move in

tick tick tick tock.

if not i'll just give him cheap rent for a bit, with microwave n kettle in dif room LOL :p

Anyone know who is good for boilers and/or damp proofing in Birmingham?

    I got my boiler from Panesars builders in Tyseley & got a Corgi gas fitter from rated tradespeople to fit it.

    It worked out about £600 less than if I'd got one company to supply & fit the boiler.

    Hope that helps.
