Heya
Ive been getting bugged by guys on the phone about PPI for a while now and id only ever come across it the once, it was an ill-advised laptop purchase from comet when i was about 20. After i bought it i was getting PPI charges as well as intrest on what i though was a 6 month intrest free deal. Anyway I was a novice at these types of loans and lacked the confidence to call up GE money and sort it all out so i stuck with it until olne day i called and canceled the PPI (this was after 2 years or so of paying it). In 2008 i got so sick of the debt i asked my parents for a loan to finish it off wich they were nice enough to give me.
Looking back over the sales recipt and credit agreement i saw the box for a PPI application and in faded printer ink i saw the words "NO" in there, i dont have a great recolection of the sales talk at the time but either the salesman has asked if i want it and ive said no or he's made the decision himself not to offer it and put no but either way i should have never been paying it.
Ive got the questionairre off of santander to fill in and ive got on to experion and ordered a credit report to see if i can pinpoint the date i canceled the insurance but do I treat this incident as a regular claim for a mis-sold PPI or do I push harder and get somones head rolling for this?
cheers

If you make a complaint regarding PPI you put the complaint into the company that sold you the PPI, this was Comet, as you have the account number for this you could put the claim in, but be ready for a rejection due to the year if it was before 05.0
