Oh yes, you should never talk to the police, ever, but thats entirely another thread.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. If any Parking Pirates have a problem with my post then contact me for my solicitors address.*****0 -

Interesting... I had a quick look into this and found a link to an article about the OPC prosecution (can't post it as I'm a newbie) - exactly the same situation.
TPC's 'Interim ANPR Appeals Co-ordinator' emailed me again this afternoon to say that my 'unwillingness to follow the procedures' means that the matter will now have to 'follow it's natural progression' and I hate myself a little bit for going back on my promise not to engage in further dialogue but I'm afraid I had to send him the link with a note to say that I'm currently gathering evidence to prove that my car wasn't continually parked up for the alleged 10.5 hrs (surprisingly easy when you apply yourself).
I didn't start this thing, but it's on.0 -

Good on you for taking action. :T
It was due to people like you that OPC were prosecuted. They are back in action but at least they were taken to account:

Keep all your emails, your letters and their letters.
You could sue them for harassment (no solicitor needed, file a small claim on MoneyClaimOnline for about £40 and get compensation and your court fees back if and when you win. AND you could also involve Trading Standards if they are interested. Some TS are good, like those who took action against UKPC last year:

There are at least 2 members on here who have got a payout from a parking company of a few hundred quid for harassment, I think one was in Small Claims Court and one was settled out of Court (not TPC but you can be the first with them).
:TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

'unwillingness to follow the procedures'
Ppc speak for Damn, we've got another who's maybe sussed us. We'll just send some more threatening letters and they may well cave in. Doris, send them the court letter from "insert name of ficticious solicitor" that always works (until it does'nt)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Why not go for the retailer (Asda) as well, so thathopefuly they will see the parking company as a hinderance as opposed to a help. From the Plain Language Commission:
