£30 Free Nectar points from Amex

I had an Amex card nearly 2 years ago, think I got £30 worth of Nectar points from them last time they ran this offer. Closed the account down long ago.
If I re-apply for the card, would I qualify again for another £30 worth of Nectar points??

Hi All,
I've just had a look at Quidco, despite it saying you can get £35 for an Nectar Amex card, their Amex link only goes to the main Amex site.
On Rpoints, were you can get £20 worth of points, it does take you to the correct link for the Nectar Amex card, but if you did it that way you only get 1000 Nectar Points (£5 worth).
If you could either get points through Quidco though, or get Rpoints to match them (which IIRC they still do), then that would be £35 cashback from Rpoints/Quidco, plus £5 of Nectar points, thus £40 in total, £10 up on the 6000/£30 Nectar points offer.
Has anyone got any experience of getting the card through either Quidco or Rpoints?
Cheers

I thought with most cards as long as you cancelled at least 6 months ago (some just 3 months) you'd be fine to re-apply as a new card holder.
Seeing you you say you opened 2 years back just to get points and closed it, I imagine its been closed more than 6 months, so most probably you'd be fine, I guess - worth checking the T&Cs just in case though!
Cheers

Hmm just tried to apply for the Nectar Credit Card. The site didn't work - told me I needed to fill in my post code and various other fields, all of which were filled in correctly.
'Must be a Java/Firefox thing' I thought, so I did it all again in IE7 - and got the same result :mad:0 -

I went to the Necter site through Martin's link, when I tried to apply for an Amex card it went through to clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click but the screen was blank, has anyone any idea why and what do I do to get onto the site? I've posted on the another board but haven't had an answer. Can somebody help, please/0
