Can i transfer 'credit' from my credit card?

I have just been approved a credit card transfer. Now i asked for the max transfer to be made from new credit card to the old one. That leaves me with about £2000 credit remaining in my old one. I was going to use it for normal every day expenses like food and petrol.

But was wondering is there a way to transfer to current account from credit card?

If it's one which allows a transfer to a current account, then yes. ie MBNA.

But even then, unless there is a special promotion, it's an expensive way to borrow money.
