Hi Guys n gals

I have just transferred my pictures from my sd memory card to my lappy. I can see the pictures on my lappy and also still on the card when inserted in the lappy.

My question is why can I not see my pictures on my memory card when inserted in my digital camera a canon powershot ?? The photographs were taken with the same camera but now I have transferred them to my lappy i cannot see them on my camera.

Hope this makes sense

Hi guys just gone a quick google and it appears that because i have renamed a folder on the memory card that is the reason that i canot see my pictures. Does anyone know the default folder name for a canon powershot so i can hopefully rename the folder

Taken a random photo and see where the camera puts it (it should create the folder).
Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.

    Hi thanks for that

I have tried to take another photo and then put my existing photos into the same album but the camera will only read the new photo.

    Any ideas guys ?

By "same album" do you mean same folder?

It's possible (but I would have thought unlikely) that there's hidden files. What I would do is "undo" what you've just done by moving the files back to where they were (assuming you haven't deleted the folder), delete the folder that the camera created and then rename the folder you had previously renamed back to the name of the folder you've just deleted (if that makes sense).

Try this (I don't guarantee this will work):
    1. Delete the new photo from the camera.
    2. Make a note of / copy the new folder name, then delete it.
    3. Rename the folder containing you photos to the same as the folder you just deleted.
How do I add a signature?
