  • Look out for OOD SEL's in the beer aisle and the dishwasher tablet aisle. You don't want to be overcharged. :)

A has the Pilgrim Mature at £2 and there is a 30p moc on the printables, so £1.70. Not mega cheap, but not too shabby? If you have any conditional spends at S, then Brand Match is good for this. I will be using a £2 off £20 at S to stock up on this cheese and Branstons Beans, matched against A :)

Be a bit cautious as T.com has not updated from yesterday yet - usually happens midday-ish the day before so don't know what is happening. So can't tell yet if an offer has rolled over or gone into a new/different promotion, or if the offer has indeed dropped.

Just got back from the hospital:(

They allowed me to sit with her for a few hrs before taking her off the respirator. I just sat held her hand and talked. The Dr then came in and I knew it was time. I was dreading that moment but it was nothing like I expected, she carried on breathing for nearly an hr, all so peaceful and serene, She finally passed at 3.58pm when the angels came to take her.
She looked so peaceful, and free of pain.
I cried but did not care,it seemed to be the most natural thing to do, so did one of the nurses (she was new to ITU and this was her first time dealing with something like this) bless her :A.

I think I am now just numb from it all, I feel empty inside. :(

As sad as it has been I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing this lady and even in her last minutes I am sure she knew I was with her, and as silly as it seems she has now given me strength to never fear death.

A big thank you to you all for all the support you have shown me, I mean that from the bottom of my heart :A

Now I have to get back to work (my employers have not even mentioned me having a few hrs off this evening, although its only 2 hrs) Perhaps it might be a good thing as it keeps my mind off it all and there are others that need me also :)

You truly are an angel:A sending you huge hugs..
The missus had been hinting for 50 Shades of Grey for ages......

Being the nice lad I am, I went and bought it for her....

The look on her face when I presented her with a Dulux catalogue was priceless!

I spoke to a friend on Friday whos reading this and thought after everyone on here talking about it I would just have to buy it. Tried to get it through th Smiths website and couldnt place the order:(so asked DS to help. When he saw what I was trying to order his face was a picture!!!! He was gobsmacked and said do you realise that's just Mummy !!!!!! that's for bored middleaged housewifes!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Hasnt put me off buying it though, in fact going to go for the trilogy;)

i bought all three from Ts a while ago and have read them all:o
they have now been lent to work colleuges and have a waiting list:rotfl:. the mucky bits are really mucky but around them its a decent enough story that follows well through all 3 books - you do need to read all three to reach a proper conclusion to the tale.

    sorry not read back far
    so hope all are well
but i do want to sent special hugs to missalignedhalo after the difficult weekend youve had, it was a very brave and selfless thing you did that was really caring.
