I love turkey and sarigerme was nice - turtles nesting on beach so not allowed on st night and only on restricted bit of beach - was ok but pebbly and deep shelf into sea.

Must agree though that Turkey is getting more touristy (this is third year I have been) and prices defo are up

Got my cash out on credit card so not sure what exchange rate!

We have been going for ovr 20 years and each year I notice it is more and more touristy, with more and more new apartments. Little villages we have been to have become small towns.

The one thing which is nice about the Fethiye region is the main town remains the same, with or without tourists, and there is very little high rise accommodation.

I have only used sterling or TL, I have never bothered with Euros for Turkey.

At least the sunshine is guaranteed. Just starting to rain again here.:(

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

The Father's Day SELs have an expiry date of 24/06/2012 here, does that mean we're looking at a further reduction on Monday?

I have not done very well on my whoopsie shopping in SH/FW in the last 3 weeks. There were hordes of people in my locals at whoopsie time. My freezer is almost empty. :(

Why can't she use the search function like anyone else?

Celebrate didn't answer my pm asking her to marry me so am not talking to her :D

Neighbors cat left me a little prezzie yesterday, whilst popping it back over 2 fences with a shovel, my aim went askew and the prezzi landed on the green house with a soft thud and splat opps.

( did best to restrain laughter when heard " where the f# eck did that come from" )

ask her again next week, give her a week to enjoy being single :D.
