GP came at 2pm and checked alan and my list of what meds he'd had and when. Raising MST to 40mg plus oramorph as needed, so told me to give him 15mg now to top up what he'd already had and then give 40 mg from tonight. Agreed about possible review at oncology but as we have an appointment with Palliative Care Doc on 4th July will raise it with him and see if he will refer back to oncologist to consider this

GP is going to ring tomorrow to check how thing went and visit if necessary. Alan said pain has eased, though still there, and has fallen back asleep easily so at least meaning that he can rest :D

District Nurse came at 2.45 just as I was about to submit. She was here over half and hour and made lots of notes. They will visit again in 2 weeks unless we need them earlier, and will order perching stool for bathroom and pillow raiser/back rest too, as well as check up on wheelchair order. I wcan pop out noww to pick up script for more oramorph GP gave me when he was here

Good to have things happening and meds getting there in easing Alan's pain and possibility of some radiotherapy :j

Now, did I see something about a rose wine glitch? Off to check

Ahhh I see you're near me. Is it worth me making a trip there to buy any?

May I ask whether you've found any MAM in the area, other than dried bacon strips and sausage? Top Va!!ey have chunky bacon pieces but would really loke some of the beef if poss.

I said I'd post about my toy order, this afternoon I got a phone call to say my order was at the store. In I went the lady gave me three parcels so I told her I was confused I'd had a text yesterday to say I wasn't getting them, then a dispatch email and then her phone call. She told me I wasn't the only one confused there is a problem with the IT system. Really:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The stores are receiving things but the computer is saying they aren't there. Then they appear on the system a couple of days later.
Result being I got a large timmy time sheep, mr potatohead, bakughan and dagedar. Thank you again to the OP:beer: I hope everyone elses parcels appear in store:j

    Afternoon all
Just catching up from last night as I've had my mum, eldest daughter and the two youngest grandchildren here for lunch.

Freya is just coming up for 3 months now and is really smiley.
She's sleeping through the night, but not so much during the day.
Ollie is 2 next week and is a real handfull. I've been playing football and chasing bubbles (with the wand variety....not Michael Jackson's chimp!) in the garden with him and I'm knackered!!

Might see if I can muster up enough energy to go whoopsie shopping to T's tonight. Not been for nearly 2 weeks and I've still got my big JTD to use.
I keep saying I'll go when England are playing as it should be quiet. When is the next match....tonight?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
