Welcome back Cosmic-Dust :) Glad you saw sense!!

To those with arachnaphobia, maybe some webb building watching would help?

They are amazingly dextrous creatures, webb building from above, sideways, below, in the wind. Making the perfect webb, sizing it, creating it.

I used to have a dislike of them, bordering on a phobia, but once my 2 DS's started to find them scary, then a Mum has to step in, and get rid of said spider! When you're called upon to do it, you'll somehow find the determination to do so.

I was basically saying the same as the other poster in that if everyone sits it then, as they do, then there is very little edge other than to those who really are daytime specialists with a great diet.

I'm not a teacher, no, but have a PhD in Engineering (Makes me a Dr, but not the medical kind so I didn't join celeb, Karlie et al). I really do love Maths. My Step-DD (who got the A) hated it but I took the time to show her how it can be very interesting and got her through it - she's now doing it for A-Level.

I'm not very good at exams, but this again was my point. I think that hard work will outdo memory because once you know something, you never forget it (rarely).

You guys and gals are great. I've only just joined and already people are helping me. A big thank you to Call of Trouty.. I feel so guilty for lurking for so long now :(

I know I'll be going against the grain here but Karlie88, even though the Corsa is a special edition, it screams student and not serious doctor type. Maybe that's what you were going for but I think the Focus would be nicer and maybe less likey to be damaged by jealous scumbags? Sorry if that offends as I don't mean it to, just my humble offering on the topic though if you do get the Corsa, the second colour is much nicer.

Miserable DS, exam went badly, reckons there is no way he can meet his offers.

It is going to be a moody Summer. :(
My step daughter & nephew have both done the Maths A level exam today & both have said it hasn't gone as well as they'd hoped it would. :( Must have been a tricky paper.

We can all moan together this summer then, we're definately in for a stressful summer with DS:eek::eek::eek:

Karlie have you thought about this one, I sure they go faster in pink:p:p:p:p

Right.....Have you heard the one about the woman who gets on a bus with her baby.
The bus driver says: “Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen!” The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “The driver just insulted me!” The man says: “You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.”

Purdy thanks for making me laugh twice, 1st with this and then with the deforestation remark!!:rotfl:I also cried twice too, once at the taxi driver story and once with sheer admiration for 3dogs!! I know everyone has said it but I do wish there was something we could do to help, you are an:A

I've not been able to get on for a few days, had to have a few hospital tests so wasn't in right frame of mind and very tired but all sorted now so you've got me back:p I was only upto page 218 so I skipped a bit:o but hopefully didn't miss too much.

Mum has very kindly taken the baby for me for the afternoon to give me a rest but she hasn't brought her back yet:eek: my heart is literally aching cause I miss her..is that ridiculous?? She only went at 1.30:rotfl::rotfl:
