    Morning all!

welcome to the new people, and :jhello to everyone who usually frequents these pages.

3Dogs, as always, you're amazing. :) Mr3Dogs is very lucky to be married to you :A

Michjay I sincerely hope everything is better and that the doctors have found the problems- and that you get some rest. Caring for someone when it all goes pear shaped takes it out of you.

Going to ride my bike through the soggy rain today to get in to work... I will go between the drops! ;) The fruit plants in the garden are loving the rain, so I can't complain.

Had all my T's direct toys cancelled, but I will have a good snoop round in store... just in case! :D

    almost managed a NSD yesterday! 75p :o
ps. FK, love the duckies! :)

Mr 3Dogs started the day ok. Alarm went off at 8 am and he got up about 8.30 to have shave and shower. However he couldn't manage a shave as he couldn't stand and lean over the basin long enough. He did have a shower, but came back into the bedroom feeling rotten and in pain. I did our breakfast cereal and he could only eat half. I gave him his morning meds including the new slow release morphine and he went back to bed. After a half hour he was still in pain so I gave him some orimorph and he tried to get some rest

He slept on and off but the pain remained, and he had his lunch-time meds and orimorph and slept a bit more. I went out to take a king size mattress to the tip - you should have seen me getting that out of the house, to the car, and into the back of the car  You would have laughed, and cried, at the struggle I had but I did it and now it is gone :j. I then called at Tosco as my disabled neighbour had asked if I could get a couple of bits and when I got home, I found that the doctor had tried to ring me about 10 minutes before I got in. It was pointless trying to ring back as he would have just been trying between appointments. I did think he may ring later but he didn't, so will have to wait until he rings or comes tomorrow

I have just settled Alan in bed - he has had all his meds today and his last orimorph but is in agony with the sharp pain in his right side if he moves so much as an inch. There is nothing more I can give him or do for him, except try to make him comfy, and I am sitting here in tears typing this as I feel so useless and he is in such pain

I will have to ring the surgery first thing and ask the doc to ring as soon as possible. He did prescribe 10mg and 15 mg but told him to take the 10 mg to see if that is enough, but it looks like he needs the stronger dose ...... and I think I will give him that in the morning

So I've done no catching up today - I may do a little now but wwill be in bed soon so will say goodnight now and hope that tomorrow brings a better day :)

You truly are one amazing lady, I too think of you both daily, you are a treasure :A

3dogs, I do feel for you. Watching the pain is the worst part. I've not said anything on here before but my mum has terminal cancer, its in her bones. The pain is so upsetting to us as no amount of drugs stop her wincing and she was tough, my mum so I know it must be agony. She's having up to 2 x 25 morphine slow release patches and oramorph/ liquid morphine as needed.

Heat patches can help - have you tried?

    Hows his eating?

You are doing an amazing job. Its hard and its horrible, but you, my dear are doing so well - he is so lucky to have you x x x x

Huge hugs to you karen

I don't want to log out without a short post but I'm not feeling too clever so I shall save my list for tomorrow ;):)

I just had to send the biggest cuddles and love to 3Dogs, karen3112, FloFlo, Tinyshoes, celebrate, Red Balloon, fudge2 and flowerclipper who are all having such a horrid time as I'm sure are others who haven't disclosed. I am so incredibly sorry to read of your suffering and can only hope, sincerely, that tomorrow brings with it a little sunshine and happiness that lifts some weight off your heavy shoulders.

A special night night to all the Elite angels :Axxxxx

and I can't log off without saying the biggest thank you to bensonsmum, your enormously generous and kind words brought tears to my eyes. I really can't think why anyone would think so much of little old me but I am truly honoured. You are wonderful for making me feel so special and appreciated. THANK YOU so much :Axxxx

Fudge cake you really are very kind, and your posts make my heart feel warm and cosy.

What a wonderful bunch you guys really are
