I have cooked a chicken curry in it which was quite nice - was going to try a chilli but I usually make a big batch of this then freeze portions so haven't tried it yet.
With all this talk of chips just made some so it is a chip butty for my supper0 -
Must be the day for it. DS came home today saying his exam was awful.
1 day to go. C4 tomorrow and then that is it. Why do they schedule a maths exam for an afternoon? I thought it was known that you perform in maths better in the morning.
To be fair, if you need to take into account time of day to pass a Maths exam, your teacher, or your parents didn't help you enough.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Big thank you Locarr, you didn't warn me I was joining the stampy club, I think I may get kicked out straight away, I opened the envelope at the back with such gusto not noticing he was on the front, he was fatally injured

You're welcome!:D

I tend to do these in the slow cooker so that I can make a mountain. For my curry though my wife got me a course in Manchester off Living social. Knew lots of it but now I always fry my stuff off with spices in a pan first.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Can I ask why the majority of your posts come across as just plain rude?
I'm starting to wonder whether it is just the way you type, or whether you do actually do it intentialy.
The time of day would actually be very important as children are more alert in the morning and that has nothing to do with the parents or teachers, it is something that has been studied scientifically for years.
If you don't have anything nice to say, perhaps you might like to think about saying nothing at allA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -

Evening everyone
Just catching up as had awful night last night.
Had just had bath and ready to have evening meal when DH collapsed upstairs
He had been coughing all day and could hardly breath by time got upstairs
Called ambulance and they rushed him in to A&E
4 hours of examinations and x-rays they decided it was severe chest infection. After putting OH on nebuliser and a drip for steroids they eventually discharged him just after midnight last night
That must have been a terrible shock for you. I hope he will recover soon and quicklyYou can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -

It must be the way I type because that wasn't the intention at all. I have just tutored my wife and DD through their Maths exams of which they have both received an A.
IT is scientifically proven, yes, but the point I was making is that the edge in the afternoon may give you 1-2%, but long term, it is your ability to work hard, concentrate and understand that determines how well you do in an exam.
I really am sorry if I offended. My intention is merely to point out that apportioning a high % of blame on exam timing isn't useful in the grand scheme. Most people have to work in the afternoon too. :A
EDIT - PS I often don't have the time to type long replies as I play online poker in the evenings and I'm often too busy to even type more than a few lines. I will try to alter my tone.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

That sounds quite worrying - did they say if they had dispatched any goods to them? I am not sure if they will give you any info on the name and address used but I think I would let the police know. Must admit I don't know if doing a credit check would show fraudulent use or identity theft - though I am sure someone with this kind of knowledge will be along to help0 -
Can i ask what is the etiquette for sending mr Stampy to a new home? i mean ...you know what i mean
does he like to go with his original transport envelope
or a new one?0
