  • I'm still reading through so don't know if your question has been answered. If I understand you correctly as you go to pay your previous £110 is ready to pay with?
On the left of the page, down the bottom it usually gives a list of the vouchers used to pay for the items. You could delete enough so that you only have the correct money to spend?

Sorry if this is not what you mean.

Thanks, have checked the ones on the list against my email and inputted the additional codes not used and it now seems to be accepting them ok :)

Evening all. Went to my local to use my B&J price check and had a half an hours wait while they decided if I could or could not use it (they said yes in the end how kind of them!) They were all under the impression that it is only £10 now no matter how much I explained this was done before the changes. Also had to listen to the trouty sa b!tching about people using vouchers, people bringing in small price checks (in her words why would you bother its a waste of time) and the fact people moan about being overcharged, (again her words- how many people get undercharged and come back in about it) I was ready to say sod it and leave but I wouldn't have had anything for tea! Anyway sorry for the rant hope everyone is ok and had a good day.

    hi everyone
hope your all good, so many newbies at the moment!

well no T's for me in a while and burst into tears today when i did finally go in and got the most miniscule accidental dtd of all time, pathetic:(

loads of crap gone on at home and finally kicked the OH out for good a few wks ago, i just couldn't take anymore and the icing on the cake was that he told me he was never ever going to look for a job near us and had kept me hanging all these years on purpose. I was doing great for a few weeks but now i'm having a few weak moments, I must distract myself and keeping trying to remember when i miss him how he treated me like something on the bottom of his shoe but still feel like my insides have been ripped out:(

Am NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO way letting him back this time, i know he thinks i will crumble as i am the weaker more needy one but i think i've realised thats was my naivity plus the psychological abuse that has just completely battered my self esteem. Just need reminding/distracting in any weak moments when i feel like emailing or texting. In fact kids haven't even mentioned him since he went which says it all really.

I didn't want to bring a downer onto the thread so avoided posting but am missing you guys, many others having a rough time too at the moment. A special hug for the 3dogs family and fudge cake, tiny shoes and flo flo.

Will be lurking again but really am not feeling the need to go bargain hunting at all as before and tbh think i did just to get away from him, how sad is that:(. Am going to concentrate now on the two things that matter most in my life, my faith and my kids.

    Hugs to all xxx

oh my can't believ i was just posting that as neosi posted that joke, any other time i would have found that funny lol xx
So sorry to hear you are having a hard time at the moment celebrate, ive been through the same thing myself a couple of months ago. I can confirm it will get easier so stick with it hun, you are worth far more you only get one chance at life so why should you spend it being mentally abused .
I love life at the moment i would not care if i never had another man in my life, i have a really lovely close family and great friends and really great kids who love the bones of me so i just count my blessings if you need a chat just pm me hun x.

I will try the express stores for my wombled points. Thanks

I used the self checkout. They were talking rubbish but had no choice but to go along with it. They just make it up as they are going along

I normally tell them what is it and what to do with it:rotfl:
Once I had to show them where to put the coupon in:eek::eek::eek: and other times they have left the supervisor menu on screen:eek::eek: just walked off with all the options, like coupons, recalled transaction etc.. I kindly tapped the guy on the back to say erm can I pay please :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well, I am not sure if I posted earlier so will say what happened this morning anyway :o:o I don't know if I am coming or going these days

The Macmillan nurse who saw Mr 3Dogs in hospital rang this morning to say that his nurse Jackie wasn't in today, so we were to ring GP and get meds reviewed. So I rang the surgery and asked for a call-back giving the details. He'd had a better nights sleep but still in pain and not getting enough rest

The GP rang after lunch and I explained Alan's pain and that I did have a bottle of oramorph here from when prescribed for his sciatica at New Year, still sealed and in date so he said to give him 5ml teaspoon oramorph up to 4 times a day when needed and that he would call round to see him tomorrow to check him over and check his blood pressure too

Alan had just had his lunch time meds and about to go back to bed, so I gave him the oramorph and, by the time I had emptied the back of the car and put the dog crate in it, he was sound asleep. I then took dogs to the kennels - I have them booked in from today for 2 weeks and had decided to put them in whether we get away or not, to give Alan a break from their barking and playing. With them happily settled I popped round to Tosco and got £32.87 after multibuys/deals, down to £20.15 and I am on a nice promise from the kind Mr T ;)

When I got back, Alan still asleep and when he woke up, he said he'd had the best sleep for ages and felt relaxed. He certainly looked better :j He got up around 8pm for something to eat and didn't have any pain :j It started to hurt a little and he was really tired so went back to bed at 8.45pm, and when I checked him at 9.30 and 10.30 he was sound asleep :D:D So, here's hoping this is the answer for now :j

    agree with this entirely.
what if there's a queue at CS? hold everybody even more! plus embarrasses you too. I think Uncle Phillip should be told:cool:
This was the problem I had today, I felt like a bit of an idiot :( Tesco messaged me and have said sorry but in all honestly it puts me off going back in there. I know everyone gets trouted but this is my local, I know the people who shop and work there and I feel uncomfortable going back in especially with another £17 p/c!

:o Almost empty, I have 2 pizza's but it's not pizza day (we have planned meals) a lot of the pizza's I got were donated away to friends and family.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Thinking of you Celebrate. Given what you have said in the past which will be only a fraction of the true position, good for you hun. You've got to think of yourself and your kids now, they are what matter, so lift your chin up and be proud of yourself :A :A

I haven't used mine yet and as its for £17.92 I've been wondering if it will be accepted at the till or whether it will have to be done at CS.
Are may people experiencing problems redeeming the ones where we bought the 4 B&J deals?
I'm going to go to T's tomorrow evening while the footie is on so will use mine then.

I used a £12.xx one yesterday and a £14.xx one tonight. No problems on a manned till.

    It's only a game

FK we haven't had a pic of your evening meal yet. I have to work out the calorific content

Sorry had no internet most the day.....weather was ok so went out instead. Needed some exercise and of course a Vit d top up as I was running on empty!

Dinner was a curry....left in slow cooker so didn't look very photogenic! It did taste nice though. Posh pataks one..jalfrezi with added mushies, courgettes and peppers and plenty of turkey. followed it with a banana. Shouldn't be too bad cholesterol wise?

I'll edit this post in a few mins and insert a couple of pics from today.............

It was late in the day by the time I actually decided to go, but by then the sun had actually come out and the sky had pretty much cleared of clouds. The river was at the higher end of its normal but nothing too drastic.

It helped to be able to launch from the end of my garden......... lol

    houselz.jpg

The river looked lovely as it always does.......

    Usual wildlife was about......

Time to turn around and head back.....
