I'm back from T - had a fab shop but I missed the whoopsied meat by five mins i think. It was all very civilised and people were actually saying "would anyone like these potatoes?".. I couldn't stop giggling. So my grand total should have been about £15, then with store discounts, promos, price flops etc and a JTD from pizza/ice cream last week, my grand total was 7p to pay:j:j:j:j
I was soooo chuffed with myself. Even the trout-like sour puss on the till couldn't dampen my mood at that. :rotfl:

Oh was hoping you were down my neck of the woods then

Could have had an extreme whoopsie, couponing, JTD session

mind you i never have any luck in this store. Even with the MAM they only stock the gammon joints

I do travel around ;) but not often down $w4n$34 it's quite a lot of petrol, I had fun there last time with a proper salesman in the phone bit trying his hardest bless him but his excuses were from the "Top Ten lame excuses not to give DTD Handbook" and we had much discussion as to why he was talking carp and why I was right - result - 1 free Panasonic twin phone! :D

We still spend a lot, about £100 a fortnight for 4 of us, though can rise to more when we have run out of certain bulk/big buys or when we have friends round etc. Oh and £50 a month at butchers so around £250 a month. Sometimes its less. I like those months :D

It was mainly meat I would get 2-3 joints a week costing £10+ each one and use them for 1 meal plus 1 packed lunch and the rest was binned, luckily we could/can afford to do it but since being a fully paid up MSE member I have saved so much money :D
