Probably because it's Tesco.
I'm quite tempted to apply for a part-time job there. Who knows....I may be able to get some inside information.
I'll get one of those hidden cameras and dish out all the dirt here. :rotfl:
I might be tempted to make a Panorama-esque TV episode from it all.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Oh well, looks like I will be taking the 7:doh: jtd items I bought today, back tomorrow:mad:
I wouldn't, there is no date on when the changes are effective from. I would submit as usual and if they don't work contact CS. If they are going to make changes to their price checker they should have communicated those changes to customers before making them live.
If customers are using a service over a period of time, there is no reason why they should check if the service has changed on a daily basis iykwim.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -
And why are T's using two spellings, smoky and smokey?0

A [STRIKE]cop-out[/STRIKE] reply:
Hi,
Sorry to hear you are unhappy with the changes, I will feedback all of your comments. Firstly you mention that staff are not knowledgeable about Price Check. Where is your local store? Have you been refused in the past? I will happily... speak to checkout managers if this is necessary to address this kind of concern.
The changes to the old price check system are a direct result of our conversations with customers. We have been marketing and interacting with customers in Sheffield, where we have been trialling the new system. We have been supplying the marketing material about the website in some of our stores in Sheffield to be sure we're giving customers the best possible information when we start to promote the website nationally. If there is anything you feel is unclear I will happily address this.
You finally mention that you disagree about us offering the best overall value on price. Could you let me know if there is any particular product you feel is too expensive. I will happily make our buyers aware.
Kind Regards,
Stuart- Customer Care

Did you ask them which stores, cos I am guessing that they are telling porkies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
