Well done for sorting it out, couldn't have been easy but now he knows where he stands & you can enjoy your friendship.
Having a bad day just heard that the husband of an elderly couple I know from football but haven't seen for a while as I haven't been to any away games this season, has had his cancer reoccur after a number of years its got to be 6 if not longer & he's been going for regular checks, as he previously had radiation he can't have it againbut has had an operation.
My good friend who is like a second mother to me has been telling me about her husbands evening drinking for some time, they've been together 48 years but he lashed out & made her fall this week.
Just whacked my mother in the face with the strimmer, it wasn't on, I asked her to come into the garage & hold it whilst I wrote down all the details so I could get a spare part, passed it her while I was reading it not looking she switched off & wasn't looking I got her right in the nose & glasses. ALL MY FAULT of course
Like when I'm looking in the boot of the car she will put her head in there , the number of times I've hit her with the lid when closin the boot ! I give up !
Hugs QPR, sounds like you have had a really bad day xxIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
hi & welcome
unfortunately you cant use 4 mocs as you can only use 1 per £3 you spend. the glitchy part is that the moc sees the price you spend before bogofs and multibuys not after like it should. so if you went for say the galaxy bars which are £1.50 each or 2 for £2 and bought 2 boxes the till thinks you have spent 2 x £1.50 so you have hit the £3 to be able to use your £1 off moc then the tlil takes off the multibuy and you end up having only paid £1 for 2 boxes of cake so 50p each.
2 x £1.50 cakes = £3
minus £1 price flop moc = £2
minus the multibuy discount of £1 (the 2 for £2 bit) = £1 for both
thank you for replying to me i guess my brain wave wasnt a very good i guess i need a bit more training lol.thank you again0 -

Sorry MOMAD but I think people are preoccupied with the news on JTD
You would be able to get a JTD voucher which in effect will end up with you paying the same price in Tosco as you would have done in Asda. They real value in JTD is to alloww you to use Tosco only coupons and then get JTD based on price before coupons, or if you are making up a shop to use a tosco conditional spend. Your fabric condition is an example of this. You could buy this, and get JTD for it, and get to use a £3 off £20 or £5 off £40 conditional spend HTHMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Just posted this on the FB page. Will see if I get a response or if it gets deleted
'I notice that your price check has changed it's name in the last couple of days to 'price promise' and that you have also changed the criteria. Can you tell me what made you decide to make these changes and why the customer has not been informed of them prior to the change?
I see you now have to purchase at least 8 items to benefit from the price promise and you also have to be a clubcard member to participate. I have an Asda opening near me in November and if these changes are correct, it looks like I'll be taking my business to them once they open and contacting Watchdog so that they can make your customers aware of the changes as it seems you are not interested in doing so.'A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. Has this always been the case that you can only redeem one in any one shop? I am sure I have used a couple together before
I was once made to put each of about 14 vouchers through against 14 items, individually :mad:Take care what you do on the way up, it may come back at you on the way down.
Kindness costs nothing.0 -
For a comparison to be made, your shop must contain at least 1 comparable grocery product and at least 8 different items in total.
This is the killer for me, no more buying single items you know compare such that you can get them at the ASDA price.
What about items that were bought yesterday, before the change over in terms but that have not yet been entered into the price checker/promise?

Just put them back though and they will email you a new link straight away. Do read back too as the price check has changed for the worst :mad:0 -
I did not know this had happended so when i did my shopping today handed over 3 jtd vouchers (50p, £2.25, and a massive 9p) and the lady took them no trouble although she would not take my fruit juice ones said it was only for the 100% said there were only ones on the shelf so would just leave them then she said fineSaverSavvy123 wrote: »Fair Use
Tesco operates a fair use policy on Tesco Price Promise. As such:
The number of Tesco Price Promise requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Tesco Price Promise Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
The maximum value of an individual Tesco Price Promise Voucher is capped at £10.
Only one Tesco Price Promise Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.
Has this always been the case that you can only redeem one in any one shop? I am sure I have used a couple together before0
