I would not bet on it - it says British, Classic & Finest.

My email to T HO earlier about the cool bags bore fruit - they are sending me a £5 gift card, so normal response to that sort of thing!

I blooming love it when i have to deal with HO.

I was refused DTD once and when trout waved me off saying "sorry i cant help you" i replied "thats ok. I'll contact HO and get back more than i'm owed because of the added inconvenience you've now caused". She raised her eyebrows as if to say good luck with that :rotfl:

I'm getting nostalgic now as havent had cause to complain to HO for a while. I've had nothing but good servvice lately :(
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
  • I just received a free shower head and a swivel tap from Thames Water, they're really good quality too.

They were so good and useful I tried my luck and ordered another one because I have 2 showers in my house. I received a confirmation email for the 2nd one so fingers crossed I get it.

Here's the link incase any of you are interested, you have to click on the water company for your area https://www.savewatersavemoney.co.uk/freepack/index/from/orderemail

the meeting with my male freind went well, only a few awkward moments :(. but he now knows he is a freind and nothing else. he was sad, but understood my reasons. i asked him to stop putting "my love" on his texts as this was making me feel uncomfortable about our friendship. we compromised and he is still gonna put "xx". which is okish.

so hopefully now the air is clear we can get back to the matter in hand. his son with mental problems.

I'm not sure, they have 100% feedback. I sent it back in the box it came in - stuck sellers address over mine - I wonder if they've received it but it's been put back with other stock because of the packaging iykwim

Hmm, yeah, might be worth pointing that out to them if you haven't already?

What's weird is I didn't have to use a Clubcard to submit the receipt details into Price promise to generate the 9p coupon, and the coupon itself doesn't list it as a compulsary in its 1-10 conditions.

and further changes have happened....its like asda now:

The Tesco Price Promise Terms and Conditions
    Tesco Price Promise Comparisons
Price comparisons for purchases are based on what the customer actually buys on the date of purchase. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared on the price paid at till.
Price comparisons for orders made online are based on what the customer received and paid for on the delivery date.
Price data used for the Tesco Price Promise is obtained from daily web scans of the Asda Home Shopping site.
If prices are found to be different across the website postcodes sampled, we have used the most commonly occurring price.
Only identical branded grocery products or very similar own label grocery equivalents are included and compared. For own label products to be included we have tried to ensure the equivalent own label product meets the same needs or is intended for the same purpose.
    For example, we may:
identify the key characteristics of the products including flavour, and whether it is organic, Fairtrade, low fat, or eco-friendly ensuring that they are not matched in a way that gives any retailer an artificial advantage.
ensure that where products differ in size, weight or volume, the difference does not favour one retailer over another; and-
compare goods where there is no more than a 10% difference in size, weight, or volume.
Every attempt is made to match every possible grocery product. However there are rare occasions where some products are not immediately matched or matching is not possible (for example new products, or products recently changed in pack size). The Frequently Asked Questions give some examples of why products may not be matched.
No correspondence will be entered into and no refunds will be given for products not being matched on Tesco Price Promise.
The Tesco Price Promise is made against comparable grocery shopping only, as defined above. It does not include any non-grocery categories whether available in store or online or any in store concessions.
Only grocery products that are sold on Asda's Home Shopping site are included and compared against in the Tesco Price Promise.
For a comparison to be made, your shop must contain at least 1 comparable grocery product and at least 8 different items in total.
Comparisons will be made on a maximum of 10 of the same comparable grocery products. For example, if a customer purchases 11 of the same comparable grocery product, the Tesco Price Promise will only compare the price of the first 10 against Asda.
    The end is nigh

Do people think it was the pizzas that made them do this?
