Morning All
Haven't read back, but just wanted to send thoughts and hugs to those of you in the flooded areas. Laura Cello - how awful your morning has been. It's v wet here, but I'm on a hill so fairly safe - not that I can imagine it getting that bad.
I'm a bit more organised and trying to get back on the mse track. Had to send Dh to Ts in the week coz too poorly - came back with 3 days worth of food and had spent.....(gets the smelling salts ready)....over £100!!!! He'll be foraging in the forest if he goes on like this! No blinking idea!!!
:grouphug:Stay safe everyone.
PS Have I missed any weddings/births/knees ups?:rotfl:0 -

I think the biscuit deal is mostly over- it was possible to use the flop with BOGOF Fox biscuits and then get a small JTD so 4 packs of biscuits were 82p.
Last night someone said they got DTD when an offer didn't kick in (might have been with Jammie dodgers, but can't quite remember).
On the pizza front my T's HAS garlic bread (had to stop to buy DS1 ink and a ruler for his exams) but we are so badly flooded that all the surrounding roads are closed- took me 90 mins to make an 8 mile round trip to two schools and nearly killed the car. Then walked/carried the last child to school and our road is now knee deep!:eek: Fire engine has already been past so heaven knows what else has happened.
(so do I put on full waterproofs and cycle to get the pizza?!?!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

I have a dilemma and would be grateful of some advice from both male and female sides please
Its our wedding anniversary tomorrow and I am convinced my DH has forgotten
senario 1. Do I remind him but then feel gutted that I have had to prompt him.
Senario 2. Watch him squirm when tomorrow comes and I hand over his card, bearing in mind I dont know how I will react (one yr when he forgot my birthday he had an unopened beer can thrown at his head) :rotfl::rotfl:
Senario 3. Trust that he has remembered and hope he has something special planned
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hope everyone is well, hugs to all that need them :A
first tip is not to buy any beer in cans!!!!!life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Just popping in to say hello and goodbye.
Thanks for the new thread.
I've been a busy diy'er and uni coursework queen. (well apart from yesterday - Canada is my favourite track after all). Today again will be spent in the books. So hope all is well and everyone is having a good time. I haven't been on for about a week - feels so long.
Ok, so have a good day all.0 -

noooo! no more rain!:eek::eek::eek: I think I will have to get some pizza in the panniers just so spite the weather.. Only problem with all this is having delivered the children I don't think I can get them again--- hope they like walking! I am going to cycle in some wellies and long raincoats. Glad you are on a hill. We will all tell stories about it when the summer finally arrives!0 -
This is for apennysaved and anyone else in glesgae
Thought you might like to know. S/Brn had 3 clipstrips of springtime haribo yesterday (1p) in sweet corner
B/h1ll has maggots! !I left 5 packs behind 2 minutes ago. !They are on the horizontal aisles on the right of the store. Go in store, walk straight ahead until you get to the point where you COULD walk left down the centre of the main aisles but instead turn right down the aisle with lightbulbs on the end. !Maggots are on the left hand side, second shelf up. SEL says £3.44 leather chamois but thats wrong. They are deffo 6p. B/C 1796
Hope you get some. I tried sending PM but it said you are not accepting any
Thanks Miss Laid. OH and MIL are cleanfreaks so they will love these!!!Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Morning all.
Raining again in Scotland. I always wondered why the place was so green ?!!
Passport arrived - YAY :j They tried to deliver it to neighbour down a bit on friday, its an empty house but cause it was recorded it went back to sorting office - PHEW !! Not their fault the typeface on envelope is questionable.
Going into town for a raid on tesco and boots see what I can find. Although one more bottle of conditioner or shampoo and I think the OH will move out !
Have a grand day0 -
