roof repair costs

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
with all this bad weather i have discovered i have a leak in my roof, my parents reckon we need a new roof but i dont know.

I am looking at getting some quotes but does anyone have any quotes for something similar.

I live in south yorkshire, its a semi and if the felting thing under the tiles needs replacing along with some of the tiles what kind of cost am i looking at?

    LOL my crystal ball says ..... somewhere between £50 to run up a ladder with a few tiles to £6k for a new tiled roof

    If it's any help, I had to have my roof re-laid last year. New felt, extra tiles (because the company that built the house cut corners and didn't use enough) and repairs to rotten timber.

    The whole lot came to about £2000 for the roofer and £730 for the scaffolding.
    If it sticks, force it.
    If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
