Advice on Buying a Repossed house

hi all, I'm new here and this is my 1st post. I'm looking some info and advice on buying a repo.House was on the market at 80,000 and we had offer accepted at 67,000. This was several weeks ago and due to my bank messing up bank statements several times, I'm still waiting on one arriving so morgage lender can do survey and get the offer from them.
EA rang yesterday to say that another offer has came in of 68,000 and the ball is now in my court as to if I would like to put another higher offer in, or they will forward it to the seller and presume it will be accepted.
As I am close with mortgage, I am unsure now on how much to increase my offer, as I just want to take time to get my mortgagae offer through, as ,my solicitor has received all the things needed so that's all ready to go when offer is received.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, as Im a FTM and completely new to all this!
Thanks

What value is on the Home Report, and if things are tight, what will you do if you get gazzumped again (ie you offer £69 and the other buyer offers £70)?0
