Hotel changed by booking company at last minute, help!

Hi I am travelling to the Ukraine next week for Euro 2012 and I booked a hotel via Hotelopia.com about 6 months ago and got an email this morning saying that they have changed my hotel due to a dispute with the original hotel. The problem is in my opinion it is a significantly lesser hotel for example it is:
4km further from the city centre
13km further from the airport
Plus the original hotel had airconditioned rooms, a fridge, television and an en suite bathroom yet this one has neither of these options.
I have written an email moaning about this but I am just interested to know what my rights are in this situation. Unfortunately due to the Euros being on there isnt a great deal of other hotels available there are a few more with that company but they are more expensive.

I'd look at the T's & C's on your original booking.
Do they say the company reserve the right to change your accommodation?0
