I installed a copy of Win XP Pro onto my laptop which was pretty straightforward however a load of drivers are missing. When I go into device manager there is a long list of yellow question marks against all the missing drivers, I believe!
The main one which is a problem is my internet/wifi drivers so I can get online to sort it out. I even tried to plug my laptop directly into the router but that didnt work neither. Do I have to find drivers if thats the problem and save to a USB stick to get it to work or am I missing something else?

You'll along the right lines, you will need to find out what the drivers are, depending on the laptop you can usually get these from the vendors website.
then you can find the drivers manually in the Device Manager and point it to were to install from ( the download you did )0 -
I am running a Dell D630 Laptop. The drivers range from sound/audio-Wifi and loads more. I can't find the drivers manually in device manager as I have already looked, I think! I am using a random laptop to download said drivers onto a USB stick which i hope will do the trick.0

I know what your saying your trying to get the system to look for the drivers for you, you need to download them yourself and make Device Manager look on the USB for them

Select Latitude D630 and you will see all the drivers you need pop them on a USB and point the device manager to the USB and let it find them?0 -

Why? What is your Service Tag? With that you should not have any problems.
Perhaps you should start again, this time keeping this in mind.0 -
I believe its at the bottom of the laptop, not with it at the moment. Thanks0
