Hi everyone, My daughter has just moved into a council house and after clearing the 8 foot tall grass and rubbish in the garden,the gardener has found about 6 large ant hills full of red ants, please tell us the best way to get rid of them.Council say it is our problem as not a health hazard.Chees all .Ann

Grab your self some borax from a DIY store or off ebay,mix with artificial sweetener/jam/anything sweet and pour onto the nests
