Google the FT headline from 2nd October:
UN-led carbon market ‘close to collapse’Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.

I don't like cold calls either but I understand a lot of companies need to start up this way so I wouldn't completely rule them out.
Mixing cold calls and carbon I REALLY don't like.
Do your research on the company, if they've been around less than 18 months avoid them like the plague. Also be aware that they could have been around a lot longer but under several different names (run a check on the MD/CEO)0 -

No, they really don't.
I don't do business with any company that uses cold calling or email/SMS spam.I wouldn't completely rule them out.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

My elderly parents were cold called from a company called Carbon Commodities regards this Carbon credits. Had a look at their website and the literature they sent out but has anyone else used this company.
I'm with the other poster regards genuine investment companies not having to cold call.
Thoughts anyone?
what is it that is attractive about carbon credits?0 -

Not for investments. No genuine investment company will ever cold call to sell you their investment products regardless of whether they are a startup or established.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
