PPi from 1995 and older

Options
If i remember correctly my parents took out loans and mainly from barclays back in the early 90's and I'm most certain that the banks at the time was persistent for them to take 'protection plans' to help on sickness unemployment etc.

In fairness, it would be quite a needle in a haystack for me to investigate for them (they are not very illiterate) I would need to find credit reports (not sure if they can go that far)

My question is, Is there still a case as the loans were from 90's to maybe 95.

Or do we have a losing battle and not to waste any time.

Thanks in advance

There are certainly some success stories from as far back as this, but they normally involve extensive documentation being provided by the complainant to prove mis-selling took place and that the PPI was actually paid. If you don't have old statements and valid complaint reasons, it'll be a very uphill battle.
