Poor poor service from City Link

Hi,
Im after some advice. We have been having major issues with City Link for the second time this year (as a receiver not sender). I purchased a pushchair through Ebay and paid for it inc £15 postage (48 hr courier). The sender used a 3rd party to book this (parcel2go). The address and postcode did not match which we did not find out until after goods should have been delivered. The long and short of it involved several phone calls giving the right postcode and this was not actioned correctly. I stayed in 3 days in a row as I was told each day the parcel would be delivered and each day it didnt arrive. i made several phone calls being promised someone would call me back which they never did. In the end the parcel went missing in their depot, but as I did not send the item I am told the contractual link is not with myself so I cant claim compensation (the sender has done this). I have had to buy another pushchair which has cost me more. Is there any way I can claim compensation for this as I keep being dismissed by City Link. I am not happy with their service or response to my complaint! Please help with what else I can do and how far I can take this.
Thanks in advance
Lucy

No you have no rights to anything from city link. Your contract is with the seller.0
-
Blame the seller for not putting the correct full address on.If it had the right details, chances are you wouldn't have had any problems.0

You should be complaining about the sender not Citylink0
