Hello all, I am wondering if someone could answer a quicky query that I have.
I have been paying Bright Grey money for the following:
- payment protection for income cover for sickness
- payment protection for life or critical illness cover
- payment protection for payment cover for sickness
Can anyone tell me if these are forms of PPI and if I have a valid claim.
Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance.

Bright Grey do include a form of PPI in their protection policy for those that want it.and if I have a valid claim.
Are you ill or suffered a claimable event?
or do you mean complaint? If you mean complaint then why are you asking us if you have grounds for complaint? We need to know why you think you have grounds for complaint.
Immediate observations would be that Bright Grey products are only retailed via advisers (so full advice process documentation should exist) or bought via quote comparison sites where no advice is given. The latter gives you no consumer protection for suitability as it is DIY and the former should have all the documentation to support the recommendation as it is an advice process and not a sales process.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

You only have a valid "claim" if you can show valid complaint reasons. You cannot simply complain on the basis that you had life and critical illness cover. It has to have been mis-sold to you in some way.0 -

Well done for coming on this forum to find out if you had a valid complaint before submitting it to a lender (many people wouldn't bother). As people on here have correctly pointed out its very unlikely that your policy has been mis-sold.
Bright Grey policies would have been very good value for money and unless there is some reason why you wouldn't be able to use the insurance you can't really complain!0
