I'm not sure which part of the country in, but several locations now offer either the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course or the 8 week Mindfulnees Based Cognitive Therapy course for such issues - really practical, well taught, often run via universities in association with the NHS, your GP can refer you.0
