Hi

I had a new boiler installed today. They are coming back to finish tomorrow. Husband done central heating himself. So only the boiler being done.

They put the programmer/timer in the airing cupboard. Thats odd isnt it? It was in kitchen before. Never heard of it being anywhere but kitchen

I was not in today, my husband was here.

Airing cupboard is the most common place to fit a programmer, as all the controls are usually in there as well.

Airing cupboard for all the places I have lived in (around 30 houses/flats) and I don't recall any in a kitchen before:)
    63 mortgage payments to go.

Kitchen for me now and in my previous house, otherwise hall and utility room. Never seen one in an airing cupboard before. Slightly fewer houses than missprice though (5).

Might have been an idea to tell them (or your husband) before installation where you wanted it, rather than leaving it to chance?
If it's a wireless one, then moving it should be a very quick job.

Unless your previous was a combined programmer/thermostat. I had a Honeywell 7 day type which also included the thermostat
