Buyer is at Ebay UK Ltd, Hotham house!

Here's a weird one - someone has ordered an item and their address is Ebay UK Ltd in London!
I have packaged it extra well and posted on time :)

Well, they should be the perfect buyer too!

I'm guessing only those selling fake goods should worry at the sight of a despatch address at eBay or Trading Standards. ;)

    :D!

Better send it tracked, just in case it never turns up...(j/k).

eBay employees are supposed to make it clear on their personal accounts that they are company staff, by the way. Please don't tell me that, other than the address, they don't do this...

A member of my family used to have a large discount store, one of their best customers was Trading Standards, they regularly buy stuff to check it out.

I've had a few names and addresses that have made me be extra careful every now and then. I sent a big order to someone with an address at a VAT office, that was a very well checked invoice!

There is info in the 'about me' bit:

I'm a Canadian, living and working in Ireland. I'm also an eBay employee. For more info on Employee Trading please see the link below.

Why do they want it sending to London if they live and work in Ireland?? ;)

I've just had one too. Address is Hotham House (eBay UK HQ for those not familiar) but absolutely nothing to indicate that the buyer is eBay staff.

    Will be packing it carefully...
