Ex's IVA having effect on me -Legal?
Hi folks I've got myself into a bit of a situation here.
When I went for a divorce with my ex I was foolish enough not to get a court order stating she needed to re-mortgage or sell the house when our current deal came up for renewal.
Since then she has put herself on an IVA meaning she can't get a mortgage.
This obviously means that I am still on the mortgage and will have to take her to court to force a sale of the house (I'm still on the deeds as well).
I have two main questions really -
1. Does anyone have any idea how much a forced sale would cost me, can you point me in the direction of information about what is involved?
2. Is it legal that the IVA company can sign somebody up like this regardless of the knock on financial implications to a third party that the client may be involved with?
Any slightest advice would be greatly appreciated, it is becoming a bit of a problem between me and my new partner.
Many thanks in advance.

Most IPs always get RX1 forms signed by all relevant parties prior to the IVA creditors meeting being called? did they send you an RX1?
An RX1 will place a restriction over the property meaning it cannot be sold without permission from the IP.
