hello, question about overdraft insurance. I was sold one when I took out a £900 odraft, against sickness and unemployment.
A more useless thing I dont know. Been going on 6-7 years at £6.45 mth.
Is this something I can claim back?
Thanks, bob.

How do you feel you were miss-sold this?0

hi kris,
well, its not a loan with a fixed repayment plan, rather a device to cover me for extremes at certain times. I was self employed when I took on the o/draft, and needed a "cushion".
For most of the time my account has been in the black, so the facility has rarely been used.
Miss-sold? By the implication that it was necessary to have this insurance with the overdraft, as if it was a loan.
Whether this is a basis for a claim is my question.Any thoughts? Cheers, bob.0
