Halifax Clarity Credit Card

This might be me not being able to see past the end of my nose, but I am wondering whether anyone has any idea for the criteria of eligibility for the Halifax Clarity Credit Card as I am thinking of applying for one before I go to America on holiday.

All I can find is:
"To apply you must be 18 or over and a UK resident with a regular income."

I am hoping someone will be able to sign some light on how much you need to earn per year? Or if anyone has one of these cards and wouldn't mind sharing how much they earn per year.

I have a small regular income as a part time sales assistant, but I work full time self employed and income is not so regular as it is all commission payments therefore one month I can earn nothing and the next month earn a modest income.
