I have a White Knight tumble drier CL847 which is overheating. It trips the red button at the back of the drier each time but I can reset the button and it will work but how can I stop this? The top of the drier does get very very hot some times. I assume its the thermostsat? Any advise please.

Is the filter (usually at the front accessed through the door) clean?
If it's got an exhaust hose, is that clear/not squished, and is the external vent blocked?0
