Lloyds TSB c/c increase. Good or bad?

After being financially reckless in my Youth, I have been trying very hard to get myself sorted.

I get home today to a letter from Lloyds offering to increase my cc limit to £1500. I am nowhere near my limit, try to pay majority off each month and never let it get over half full.

Isit a good or bad thing they have offered me this? What is the best thing for my credit file?

I have a mobile phone contract, my bank account and a small loan with Lloyds that is almost payed off.

Any suggestions please?
Can I ever learn this budgeting lark? So far it's not looking promising
Lloyds loan - gone forever! :T
Bank of Mum and Dad gone forever!

    Thankyou.

I wasn't sure if it would look better that it's been increased or not. I don't plan in ever getting into debt I just want to improve my credit rating.

I just want normality these days, mortgage small credit card and money in the bank.

The only way it could ever potentially work against you is if you attempted to apply for further credit and the lender was spooked because you had 'too much' existing credit available to you. Really not a problem with a limit of £1,500 though, and it's extremely unlikely to affect anything - certaininly not your mortgage, or your existing credit accounts.

Treat it as good news :)
