Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus v Samsung Galaxy W

I've got a Samsung Galaxy W which i love. Now my mum wants to buy a smartphone and i'm not sure whether to recommend the W or the Ace Plus. They're about the same price.
My W has a 1.4ghz processor whereas the Ace Plus has a 1ghz snapdragon S1 processor. The processor speed is one of the main considerations.
I've read reviews that the Ace plus is a bit pixelly too.
I'd be interested in any thoughts

The main question you should be asking, are the differences really going to concern your Mum?
You already know the differences and only you can decide if they are relevant to your Mum's requirements this time
