Spanish translation for "Wheat Free"

I am intolerant to wheat in my diet and will be in Spain (Benidorm) next week but unfortunately I do not speak Spanish.
What is Spanish for "Wheat free"? Any other phrases will be gratefully received :-)

Say "sin Trigo" for short. The proper translation is "Tiene usted algun alimento que sea de trigo libre de" Do you have any food that is wheat free
Also a great iphone app that only costs 69p is SayHi translates written or spoken English into loads of languages
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    "Sin trigo" the literal translation.

A bit like "sin plomo" that you see on unleaded petrol pumps. :)

Edit: Actually, "sin gluten" might be better.
  • Thanks stoneman and Gloomendoom, much appreciated :-)

I travel to Spain regularly (have a second home there) and over the last 3-5 years the food there has been an increase in the awareness of coeliac, Lots of food in the grocery chains are now branded with the international symbol and the text "sin gluten".
Now even McDonald's has gluten free bread in Spain!

the phrase i find most useful is "dos cerveza por favor!"
  • I also have a wheat free diet. Hopefully these phrases will help:

    Sin trigo - without wheat

No puedo comer el trigo - I can't eat wheat

Quisiera algo sin trigo - I would like something without wheat

Tengo una alerg!a al trigo - I have a wheat allergy
