Three months ago I chose theaa.com because there was a page on their website offering £30 cashback. I copied the text of it but not photographically. Now there isn't a trace of cashback or page, the AA denies knowledge??:(

Are you sure it was an offer from the AA themselves and not an intermediary/ affiliate marketing company like Quidco?
Whatever insurers reputations, generally large organisations like the AA dont out and out lie about promotions having never existed etc so it sounds like either you have made a mistake or you took the details from an intermediary which the AA wouldnt know anything about as the offer is from the intermediary not the AA themselves.
What is the exact text you copied down?0 -

Make a written complaint (about them denying the offer), and include the wording you have, and take it from their reply.0

Yes thanks I will.
interestingly after several weeks there was a message in my mail yesterday saying such an offer was withdrawn a couple of years ago. I wonder did I find an undeleted file in their vaults?
