Hi, not really many numbers but its a 'type S123B03', fitted Nov 2010, the same as the second one on this page
http://www.horstmann.co.uk/utilities.php
Its fitted by SSE metering Ltd, i'm in the southern region.
OK, so its a radio teleswitch then in the southern region.
This is one of the regions I've got so I can post you ever E10 time.
Before I do this, can you tell me if you have 1 or 2 MPAN's on your bill? This will narrow it down.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
I've not had a bill yet so don't know my MPAN's from my empanadas at the mo.. sorry0

the times posted already are correct for all SSE E10 meters...
midnight til 5am, 1pm-4pm & 8pm-10pm GMT.
That meter is a horstmann rtc with an inbuilt clock, not a radio tele signal!0 -
Thanks to all of you for the posts. I've twice tried to switch electricity suppliers from an E10 meter and twice failed.
Should call EDF (my supplier), find out the times and then make sure I try to run my washing machine and other power hungry devices during the non-peak hours? Will that save me money?0 -

Hi All
My understanding is your appliances and sockets only use the off peak rate over night. The Economy 10 boost facility does not power all of your elec at the none peak prices it only boosts your heating and hot water.
Please feel free to correct me if Im wrong.

I have moved from SSE (Hydro) to EDF
They are coming out next month to replace meter with a standard meter to make things normal again
As far as E10 switching goes, the meter has only 4 connections and doesn't switch anything. It only charges at different timesbaldly going on...0
