I must confess I don't understand what you mean by a crustless loaf. Could you give an example - perhaps by comparing to something that can be bought?0

If you mean a 'crustless' loaf like the one you can buy, then you're not going to be able to make it in a breadmaker. I believe that they're made in special insulated tins that give you a very pale, thin, almost invisible crust. There's absolutely no way that you're going to be able to replicate this at home ... sorry ...0

The best you can do is...
a) set the machine to a light crust rather medium or dark.
b) try adding an extra tablespoon of oil. (This because crusty loaves such as french bread have less, or even no, oil than standard loaves)Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Sorry, it's not possible
Crustless loaves are a marketing ploy dreamt up by food manufacturers who are banking on the notion that anything 'new' will sell. I expect they charge more for it too.
When you make bread at home, you are creating real food with real ingredients, and real bread has a crust.
Get a knife and cut the crusts off if you don't like them. Save them in a freezer bag fo bread pud, croutons and breadcrumbs0 -
Cut your crusts off and send them to me, I think they are the best bit!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Someone in the office tells me that Warbies cook their crustless loaf in microwave ovens. Wouldn't like to try this at home though :-)0
