They go to great pains to keep the numbers secret.Try 01473 212422 which is for their Ipswich office at Civic Drive Ipswich or 0845 308436 which is for 107 Cheapside London.
One of their main claims depts even sends out correspondence quite deliberately which has no telephone numbers on it!
Quite a lot of their claims are handled in Mumbai or Bangalore or Base Camp for Mount Everest so you may still get a bit of a run around tracking down the right office.
Best of luck.If you have legal expenses cover let them take the strain as it could save you some of the stress.Axa are not a company who make things easy for claimants.0 -
Thankyou - my insurance company (Prudential) have been very good so far - they said they would chase them for me. I used the Ipswich number and got the national claim line - they told me they would have to wait for the driver to admit liability! So I've now got Pru on the case for me. Thanks for your advice - I can't stand insurance companies for the reasons you've stated!!!!!0

Your insurance company should do everything for you - no need to contact the other company yourself.0

Absolutally.... most insurers will not register a claim over the phone from the TP if their own client hasnt notified them of the incident because of the Data Protection Act.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
