Warning about the BA Amex card

I applied for this, paid £125 and was hoping to recieve 3 miles for every £ spent. I recieved 1.5 per £ and 5 months later i am still chasing around 20,000 BA miles, anyone who has this card should check they are recieving their bonus points.. apparently i am not the only person with this problem... (according to Amex!?!)

Was the 3 miles bonus rate for the first 3 months? In which case I need to chase them too.

I currently have one Barclaycard Visa which I pay off regularly. I am looking for a new card which allows me to get airmiles and cashback possible. Can anyone recommend some? I feel like I am living in the dark ages with all this rate tarting. Haven't ever done it! Used to just pay off minimum but am now in position to pay off small balances every month. I hardly use the card, but like to be able to put all groceries, chemist stuff on.
Is it worth it to get BA card if they charge a fee?
